X The Creative Nudge

To round off our month of 360 wellbeing (see here how we started the month), class was in session at the PrettyGreen School. On Thursday 30th Jan’ we were brought together alongside our wonderful clients for an afternoon of creativity and inspiration, to fully embrace one of our agency’s core values – Everyone is Creative. 

Much like a typical school day, it was rowdy with lots of talking, shouting and plenty of learning to go home and tell our parents about! We were kept in check by our teachers (and a school bell!) as the strategy & creative team at PrettyGreen were joined by Kev Chesters and Mick Mahoney, award-winning Cannes strategist & creative respectively, and co-authors of the chart-topping book The Creative Nudge.

Registration was called and with Audible, Casetify, Compare the Market, Hasbro, Innocent and Lebara we were all in attendance & no one pulled a sicky to get out of class… 

Head Teacher aka Ms. Lucy Porter, PrettyGreen Strategy & Creative partner, held the class assembly captive with her talk of the PrettyGreen FAME-work and how to ‘make:shift’ in the drive for creative excellence.

Lesson 1

‘Become more creative in 60 minutes’ from Mr. Mick Mahoney kept us all on the edge of our seats – apples were eaten (some before the exercise began….) cutlery was thrown, commutes were now in disarray and beware those who book holidays to the same place.

Intrigued and creatively nudged we passed the test and headed to the canteen for school break.

Lesson 2

‘What we can learn from studying Gangs’ from Kev Chesters was an energetic lesson in embracing our own tribe mentality. We were entertained with stories from both The Hells Angels and the RNLI and Mr. Chesters shared his 10 principles embracing the GANG mentality and how we are reclaiming the word for good…  

We’ll certainly be looking a lot closer at the T-Birds from Grease upon our next watch… and if you wanna be in our gang just get in touch below!
