SENIOR EVENTS PRODUCER

 

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

 

THE ROLE 

The Senior Producer (Events/Production team) leads Event and Experiential production work streams for client projects, whether stand alone or as part of an integrated campaign.  As the production lead, they ensure campaigns are scoped accurately, schedules are realistic, client objectives can be met and exceeded, and the work is communicated back to the agency.

Reporting into the Client Services Director, this role is pivotal in ensuring theend-to-end delivery of production projectson time, on budget, to a profitable level, and to deliver exceptional results.  They are responsible for best practise client servicing on a project level as well as detailed budget management to achieve profitability targets.

Transparency is central to the role – keeping client and team aligned on budgets and delivery milestones at every stage, managing stakeholders and working closely and collaboratively alongside the production team as well as other key team members. 

Where required, the Senior Producer contributes to the wider agency’s growth through focused client development plans and new business opportunities.

COMPETENCIES

Project & Production Management  

  • Lead the planning and delivery of experiential and event productions across the agency.   
  • Translate creative concepts into workable production plans with clear budgets, timings, and deliverables.  
  • Ensure all work adheres to brand guidelines, client objectives, and agency standards.  
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks – resolving issues quickly to keep projects on track.

 

Creative & Cultural Delivery  

  • Ownership of production feasibility of ideas – collaborating with the creative studio and account teams to scope out accurately and in timely fashion.   
  • Maintain an eye on cultural trends and ensure production solutions remain relevant and innovative.  
  • Own key relationships with external suppliers (e.g. set builders, AV companies) to deliver global fame-making work.

 

Client Servicing & Campaign Delivery  

  • Act as the point person and Production Lead for clients, providing senior production counsel at every opportunity.  
  • Ensure projects are delivered profitably, in budget, to schedule, and key delivery milestones are achieved.  
  • Lead project production teams to deliver award-worthy campaigns, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.  
  • Achieve objectives and meet client KPIs via production delivery.

 

Agency Brand & Innovation  

  • Support the delivery of PrettyGreen’sfame drivingpositioning through innovative production practices.  
  • Ensure sustainability policy and A is for All framework is adhered to at all times.    
  • Champion new technologies and production approaches to keep the agency ahead of the curve.

 

Team & Time Management  

  • Lead project production teams – including colleagues, freelancers and partners – giving clear direction on R&R’s and accountability to ensure successful delivery, alongside Integrated Lead / Account Lead where relevant.   
  • Responsible for profitable delivery of projects – incorporating team hours, fees, costs and client expectations and/or requests.   
  • Foster a culture of efficiency, collaboration, and problem-solving.  
  • Support production team members in their day-to-day work to deliver projects, even if not their line manager or the project lead.  
  • Line Management of a Production Executive and further junior team members where required.   

    

Growth  

  • Have an ear to the ground always for Growth and Client Development opportunities – working alongside the Client Services Director to drive income for the Production division and wider agency.   
  • Represent PrettyGreen as a spokesperson for the agency’s Production offering – across experiential and events.   
  • Production Lead for new business pitches.   

  

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential  

  • Proven track record of best-in-class event and experiential production delivery – delivering impactful, fame driving work 
  • Experience leading integrated and multi-faceted project delivery
    e.g. Experiential with content / social / PR elements either directly or with partner agencies 
  • Efficient with strong project management and organisational skills 
  • Excellent strategic relationship-building skills with suppliers, clients, partners, colleagues and stakeholders 
  • Commercially astute with experience delivering projects profitably  
  • Strong understanding of best-in-class production techniques and complex delivery processes 

 

Desirable

  • Strong understanding of the broader marketing mix  
  • Demonstrated ability to grow client accounts and win new business
