What a feelin'

Splits, grand Jetés, plies and leaps were the order of the day for the Pretty Polly shoot to announce the launch of the brand’s new 3D opaque tights with LYCRA® fibre. We left our dancing skills behind of course, and left it to the pro – Kimberly Wyatt; super hot mum and ex- Pussycat doll star to put the new tights to the test in an array of incredible dance poses demonstrating the stand out flexibility and durability of the tights. It certainly wouldn’t be a Pretty Polly shoot without a leggy model showing off their incredible pins in tights and Kimberly joins the ranks of other talent who have all modelled tights for Pretty Polly including; L’Wren Scott, Rosie Fortescue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and more.

The stunning shots of Kimberly recreating scenes from Flashdance had the whole crew on their feet, but sadly we didn’t have the same dancing prowess and keen limber ability as Kimberly. The resulting beautiful shots left us in awe, and definitely reconsidering the pastries we had for breakfast!. Her energetic jumps on set proved she’s still got it, but the team’s recreation shot with her didn’t quite have the same effortless glamour that she managed to pull off.

Always keeping one step ahead with the latest technology, the 3D opaques have been knitted with LYCRA® fibre on every course rather than the usual process of knitting with the fibre on alternate courses, if you didn’t know that already that is. This means it provides unparalleled stretch and recovery with great shape retention, so you can be safe in the knowledge that if you did a plie or lunge on your way into work the tights would stay well and truly in tact.

Pretty Polly’s new tights with LYCRA® fibre reinforces their role as market leaders in hosiery innovation and design, and did you know that they still design, develop, produce and manufacture over 90% of their products at their factory in Derbyshire. Amazing stuff for a brand that has been going since 1919!
