Walk of Art

To walk in another person’s shoes is an expression we’re all too familiar with but for well-weathered street artist Ozkar Gorgias the shells of his gnarled sneakers quite literally provide a unique insight into his twelve-year career as a street artist and photographer.

Sneak a peak at his paint-splattered gallery of trainers for a window into a profession negotiating Europe’s subways, train tracks, abandoned buildings, and rooftops to create untouchable masterpieces to be glimpsed by unknowing commuters. Each pair is quite literally imprinted with the traces of each encounter, escape, and project.
