Under Armour Vs The World

In the last month, we’ve been helping to support our Team UA athletes as they’ve taken on the world’s best in major UK events across a range of sports. We’ve seen British favourite Andy Murray reach a Semi Final at Wimbledon, golf’s hottest young star, Jordan Spieth come within a stroke of success at the British Open in St. Andrews; as well as watching Tottenham Hotspur, Wales Rugby Union and superstar footballer Memphis Depay prepare for their season ahead.

As you might expect, the performance training brand don’t just support their athletes with product. We were challenged to take support a step further…


As tennis fans across the country mourned Murray’s SW19 exit to Federer, Under Armour were already looking forward from Wimbledon and the Davis Cup, towards his next big challenge. We helped show support for the British Number One by taking to the streets of Westminster Bridge to project an image on to the iconic Houses of Parliament. Bring on the US Open, New York.

A 12-minute live window allowed us to capture the shots we needed before we were kindly asked to move along. The images were distributed out through Under Armour channels as well as being posted by the man himself through his social channels, reaching millions of his adoring fans around the world.

As Jordan Spieth focused on taking a third Major title in as many attempts in St Andrews, golf fans around the globe tweeted their support to the World Number two. Despite finishing the event in fourth position, we managed to produce a bespoke run of range balls featuring the words of the fans for delivery just in time for Jordan’s 22nd birthday.

With this kind of backing from the twittersphere, as well as the world’s best training brand, there’s little doubt that the hotshot will be challenging for plenty more titles in the coming months and years.
