One Award, Two Superheroes and a few sore heads
Last night was a pretty heroic night for us and Under Armour. Not only were we lucky enough to attend the European Premiere of Batman V Superman on behalf of Under Armour; we also bagged a shiny new award for our work with Under Armour and Andy Murray last summertime at the UK Sponsorship Awards. Ace!
Being chosen as winners for ‘Best Use of Public Relations in a Sponsorship Campaign’ was pure gold, especially as it was one of our favourite campaigns for 2015. We were up against some really tough competition from the likes of Samsung and Jack Whitehall’s School of Rugby, as well as O2’s ‘Wear The Rose’ campaign – so it was safe to say we jumped for joy and screamed the roof down when Under Armour’s name was announced! This may or may not also be the reason Jess has lost her voice today…
While all of that excitement was going on, our very own Rosie took to the red carpet at the European Premiere of Batman V Superman with Under Armour (a brand partner for the film). With flashing lights, cameras and celebs galore, she recalls the biggest success of the night as being not falling over in her skyscraper heels in front of thousands of people (a recurring nightmare of hers). Her biggest regret, naturally, is not managing to photobomb a celeb selfie, however close she got to Henry Cavill. Maybe next time, Rosie.
We can’t give too much away about the film because it’s not out until 25th March, but we’ve been converted from Team Batman to Team Superman! Nothing to do with Henry, honest.
Here’s Catherine from Under Armour and Rosie, about to head down the red carpet!
