Three UK creates modern-day tapestry in one of the first public displays since easing of lockdown
2020 has been a year to remember (or one to forget?!), with lockdown playing havoc on our daily lives and routine. But in the midst of everything and during the darkest times, as always, we were able to find glimmers of happiness.
We worked with Three UK to create a giant art installation with illustrations of trending moments that captured the many ways the UK united during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The artwork featured key connectivity moments, memes and heroes – from Joe Wicks and Joe Exotic to Captain Tom and Connell’s chain, the Wembley ‘Big Lasagne’ and Daisy May Cooper, to Stanley Tucci’s cocktail skills and Chanel the infamous parrot who made a bid for lockdown freedom.
People were able to go and see the artwork themselves at Mudchute Farm, and the artwork was covered by a range of national and lifestyle media.
We may not be out of the woods yet, but it is important to lookback and see how far we have come, in what has been a year like no other. People are still able to scroll through the many moments included within the artwork – simply visit Three on Instagram or Twitter to see a digital version.
How we Scrolled: Lockdown 2020 supports Three’s ‘Keep on Connecting’ campaign which launched earlier this month and offers customers six-months half price** across its plans.
