This week, 3 PrettyGreeners from our Events team ventured to deepest darkest South London to visit the Retail Design Expo at Kensington Olympia. Hungry for some inspiration and always on the look out for innovation, our intrepid team explored the show. Below are their top 5 picks:

The team were wowed by some seriously impressive 3D projection mapping direct on to products. Want to showcase every colour or design in a range or perhaps, chart the evolution of your product design? This is the technology for you.

Neon signs are here to stay!
As anyone who has visited our office will know, we love a bit of Neon at PrettyGreen, so you can imagine our excitement when we discovered a ‘Magic 8 wall’ and were invited to ask any question and then press a button (who can resist a giant red button?)
Controversially we asked the question ‘should we use this supplier’ and the wall came back with the answer ‘No’ – perhaps we shouldn’t have been allowed to ask anything!

Nature is proving to be a big trend for 2016. It started on the catwalk and now it’s moving into retail. A carpet of moss that can be hung on walls and draped across spaces gave us as something pretty and green to keep in mind for our upcoming projects.

Its not often that you meet a monkey that stops you in your tracks by starting a conversation with you! Real time, interactive, animated characters can do just that. Imagine having a conversation with one of your favourite characters – digital advertising may never be the same again!

Expo visitors love a giveaway and we’re no exception. In amongst all the sweets we discovered some beautifully designed aquatic themed treats. Giveaways that we actually want to keep – Hopefully that’s a trend that’s here to stay!
