PrettyGreen signed for World Cup

Breaking News has reached us at PrettyGreen HQ today, with sources revealing we’ve been signed by CONIFA ahead of their World Cup in London this summer.

The Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA), is a non-profit organisation representing football associations that are not recognised by FIFA, and therefore don’t have any financial support from the sport’s main governing body.

As part of our involvement , PrettyGreen will work with CONIFA on developing a strategic comms strategy to drive ticket sales and engage with key media & influencers around the tournament opener on 31st May in London.

The 16-team tournament is made up of Barawa, Matabeleland, Kabylia, Tibet, Tamil Eelam, United Koreans of Japan, Panjab, Abkhazia, Padania, Northern Cyprus, Western Armenia, Ellan Vannin (Isle of Man), Felvidek, Székely Land, Cascadia, Kiribati.

Paul Watson, Director at CONIFA: “The CONIFA Paddy Power World Football Cup is the biggest event we’ve ever staged, an alternative World Cup on the eve of FIFA’s event in Russia and we’re very excited to have Pretty Green helping us getting the word out to football fans all over the UK.”

We’ve long been supporters of the work that CONIFA do, so we’re delighted to now be on their side ahead of the World Cup in London and work with their talented team to tackle the challenge of ensuring the event is a massive sporting success in the capital this summer.
