PrettyGreen on its best Good Behavior for Virgin TV launch

Virgin Media has had an array of really exciting exclusive releases over the past year or so, including the brilliant Imposters that we got to work on (Remember how we told you how to tell if someone was lying in a relationship?). We were lucky enough to be brought in again to help on their latest exclusive drama, Good Behavior. The series hit our screens this past Monday for its UK premiere, and it’s safe to say we are already addicted. We may or may not have binged it all in one go…

 

Starring the amazing Michelle Dockery (Downtown Abbey), Good Behavior is a seductive thriller that shows Dockery like you have never seen her before, in a challenging and tantalising role. A role that Michelle says she fell in love with from the script alone, that is played with passion, emotion, and sincerity. The series also stars Argentine-Spanish actor Juan Diego Botto, Terry Kinney (Oz, Billions) and Lusia Strus (50 First Dates).

 

When we began pitching out for the series, we had to devise a plan that wasn’t reliable on talent – which TV campaigns can often fall into the trap of. Working with desirable, big British talent is always tricky due to busy (busy, busy, etc.) schedules, and it is always a balancing act in terms of fitting in as much press as possible to create a buzz. We therefore set our main focus for the campaign on delivering the best possible press office package – through acquisition posts, previews, pick of the days, features and everything in between.

 

Throughout the campaign we secured a number of detailed TV previews with 5 out of the 6 TV magazines, a number of key Nationals & Supplements, lifestyle titles, and across key onlines. We also landed numberous acquisition pieces with consumer and trade TV media to announce the series coming to Virgin TV. Before any talent time was committed, we were also able to lock in an excellent print feature in TV & Satellite Week – one of three Good Behavior pieces we secured in the magazine that week. In total, prior to any talent time, we achieved 30 pieces of coverage, with more to come…

 

…And after all the press office coverage, despite her manic schedule, the lovely Michelle was also able to squeeze in a number of interviews just after TX – including The i, Total TV Guide and Grazia, to name but a few.  We were lucky enough to listen into these interviews and it’s fair to say that Michelle is one of the most down to earth stars we’ve worked with. Professional, upbeat, genuine are just a few words amongst many to describe her. The interviews will be running in the coming weeks ahead of the series two launch on October 16th, so watch out for them!
