PrettyGreen Gets Their Puzzle On
Here at PrettyGreen HQ, we are always looking for ways in which we can be inspired, expand our minds and generally become better creative marketing bods (if that’s possible!) So what better way to push yourself creatively than to be locked in a room with the prospect of never being let out ever again if you don’t use your brain and crack the secret codes?
Okay maybe NEVER AGAIN is a bit OTT but last week Team Nando’s embarked on mission HintHunt – a live escape game where you have 60 minutes to wade through a mountain of Japanese themed puzzles and games to unlock drawers and secret rooms with the aim to be released within the hour.
If you are still puzzled (see what we did there?) around the concept of the game – think the Crystal Maze with less crystals, no presenter and a massive clock ticking down which is arguably the fastest 60 minutes of your life.
Everyone was split into two teams– and the burning question of who would beat who, is unavoidably at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
As the hour sped past, voices were raised, objects were thrown across the room in pure frustration and all general decorum went out the (locked) window. Team work was pushed to its maximum capacity and brains were frazzled when trying to work out what the HECK the wooden flip flop and miniature robot were supposed to do!?
Of course – only one team was successful with 22 seconds to spare. We will let you decide who…
