PrettyGreen brings Casillero del Diablo wine to the film lovers of the UK through their first outdoor event partnership with The Luna Cinema

We’ve been working with Casillero del Diablo to enhance their presence at those ‘film moments’ for the UK. We’ve seen a phenomenal commercial success via the sponsorship and integrated campaign we initiated and created with Sky Cinema, pushing Casillero del Diablo into the UK’s top 10 wine brands.


Working with CYT with wanted to evolve the campaign this year and add an element that allowed film lovers and wine enthusiasts, or the casual wine drinker (that’s not how they dress BTW), to experience the wine and their favourite film together.


Let’s just say It wasn’t a difficult challenge for us here at PrettyGreen to devise a strategy to get wine into the hands of many – but we did take our time to understand the ever growing and somewhat saturated indoor, outdoor, on a boat, in a field, on a roof film screening scene that has hit the venues of the UK.


But we did come to a unanimous conclusion that The Luna Cinema, with its now huge cult following (you’ll understand what I mean by cult if you have been, or when you go) was the most fitting partnership for Casillero del Diablo this summer, and our Clients agreed!


We introduced Casillero del Diablo as the new Official Wine Partner, with exclusivity at the bar, an advert in the pre-roll, a mention on all comms and pre-order package for those that couldn’t wait to get their hands on a bottle of delicious Casillero del Diablo Wine.


We also did what we do best – create a stylish brand experience. We brought delectable the Wine from the Devil’s cellar to life at the beautiful grounds of Kew Gardens and Harewood House to watch the classic Grease, and soon to be classic La La Land. Guests invited to taste the delicious range of Reserva wine while enjoying their favourite films.


With Luna recording unprecedented sales of wine and a month left to go on Luna’s calendar – we couldn’t be happier with the partnership success.
