Potato campaign causes a stir in Ireland


The feature in last week’s Sport Magazine that centred around the advert above caught PrettyGreen’s eye for a few reasons. Firstly the campaign was led by a Brazilian underwear model, secondly it involved crisps and finally/most importantly it generated a lot of discussion in the world of marketing.

Hunky Dorys crisps delved shallowly in to the PR ideas locker last year and pulled out an ingenious campaign focused on a very attractive, scantily clad Amazonian woman promoting a salty snack to rugby fans.

Weirdly this campaign has divided opinion at PrettyGreen on whether it is a decent campaign. We would be interested to hear your thoughts as it is created over 300 complaints in Ireland ….and near that figure at PG.
