Mark founded PrettyGreen 4th July 2008 as a way of fulfilling his entrepreneurial dream of helping create and own new brands and after being convinced by one particular Client that it would give him wiings (as well as realising that he wasn’t quite ready to retire). With over 20 years of Client and Agency experience, an integrated thinker, who’s not bad at coming up with an idea or two. As well as setting up PrettyGreen, he was an non-Exec for over 6 years of BritDoc, is often a judge for PRCA, PR Week and MAA Awards and sits on the PRCA Council. He is also a co-founder and Director of La Maison Fontaine (an Ultra Premium Absinthe range), where the Blanche is the now the most awarded Blanche absinthe in the world. He was once a school high jump champion (but he was 9). If you fancy following his ramblings he can be found on Twitter StringsLondon
Joint Managing Director
Emma has been at PrettyGreen since the company was born and now helps rule the roost alongside Jessica Hargreaves in her role as Joint Managing Director. Having worked in PR for over 14 years, Emma has planned and implemented a vast array of communications Campaigns for a variety of leading FMCG, lifestyle and entertainment Brands. Her mantra is that even the seemingly dull can fuel a conversation if the idea is brilliant enough (no brand snobbery here!). Career highlights include far too many to mention, career low points however include pretending to be a cleaner (complete with tabard & marigolds) for a Client as part of an Evening Standard case study…a full page no less, anything in the name of coverage!
Joint Managing Director
Jess heads up our integrated services for Clients – making sure that we create outstanding Campaigns that can work across multiple communication channels. With 15 years experience across blue-chip, FMCG, retail and film her number one goal is to always deliver ROI. As a Geordie, who started her career in the pub trade, she brings a level of groundedness to PrettyGreen as Joint Managing Director with Emma Grace and her love of spreadsheets is only surpassed by her love of Christmas, where planning starts in late Spring.
Managing Director - Content and Production
With over 20 years experience working in various Finance capacities for London ad agencies, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to this vibrant growing company. His IT skills should keep the company network running smoothly and his unhealthy interest in the UK tax system is causing some raised eyebrows. Tim has a very keen interest in cricket (playing, organising and watching), football, golf, skiing and cycling. He can often be seen charging over the Surrey Downs on his Roubaix, and still competes in a 5-a-side football league against lads half his age!
Head of Brand and Operations
Wendy started off her career in Account Management, heading up Clients like Levi’s, Converse and Coca-Cola, before moving into a Brand Director role. Responsible for HR, Finance, Office and brand development, she’s particularly loved at payday. She once seduced a Director at her old company, but is happy to admit that he since became her husband and the father of her three children.
Head of Events
Kate started her career many years ago as a WWF Panda bear roaming shopping centres across NZ, but has long since hung up her animal suit and moved 10,000 miles to work behind the scenes – now heading up the Events Team at PrettyGreen. With over 13 years delivering large & small-scale events across the globe for alcohol, retail, charity & FMCG clients, Kate is an experienced team leader who believes in nurturing and developing great talent. Career highlights include delivering Strongbow music experiences across 20 festivals in the UK, watching the sun come up at a J&B party in Cancun & getting her name in the Guinness World Record books for Hula Hooping for a whole 3 minutes for Sport Relief (with 1000 other people). A kiwi, who has apparently lost her accent, Kate still amuses when asking for a ‘pen’ and is a budding wine-geek, in an attempt to try to bond with her wine-maker dad.
Head of Planning and Innovation
Creative Services Director
Head of Comms
Sarah joined PrettyGreen at the beginning of 2011 to look after the PR element of the Cadbury London 2012 Olympic sponsorship. Aside from all things Olympic (and chocolate) related, she has created and run Campaigns at PrettyGreen for the likes of EA Games, Virgin Media, Magners and Gaymers. Life in the world of PR over the last ten years has included everything from spending 17 days in a field during the Olympics, to co-ordinating BlackBerry’s sponsorship of London Fashion Week for four seasons, spending eight hours watching a former Pussycat Doll get body-painted into a computer game character and installing real-life human weights at Gymbox. When she’s not at PG towers, Sarah can be found obsessing over Take That, Grey’s Anatomy, Diet Coke and West Ham United.
Client Services Director
Lucy has been at PrettyGreen for six years and oversees the delivery of integrated communications across our Sport and Lifestyle division. With over 15 years of experience across PR, Sponsorship, Social, Digital, Content creation and Events, Lucy now combines her expertise in all of these fields to ensure we deliver truly integrated campaigns that drive brand fame for our clients. Lucy's personal and professional passion for sport has seen her work across no less than 40 different sports… who’s counting? Lucy’s PR career was first crafted in the world of luxury travel before she was tempted away from the glamour of 5* hotels by the chants of the terraces to deliver T-Mobile’s Euros, World Cup and Premier League sponsorship PR. Since then, Lucy has managed campaigns for brands big and small including Red Bull, PUMA, Vodafone, Under Armour, Maximuscle as well as Olympic and Paralympic campaigns. At school, Lucy was 200m County champion. Nowadays Lucy plays netball and tends to find herself running around after her children rather than racing competitively.
Head of Sport
Paddy joined PrettyGreen over the summer to head up the sports output at the agency. Working in PR for over 9 years, Paddy has been on everything from World Cup activations in Rio to new store openings in Newcastle. When he’s not at PrettyGreen, Paddy can be found getting punched in the face at boxing, watching West Ham or trying to stop his newborn baby from crying.
Alex has over 8 years’ worth of experience within event production and experiential marketing, both here in London and in Sydney Australia. She’s worked across a variety of clients including Heineken, Ballantine’s, Porsche, Google, Coca-Cola and Samsung and has recently joined the Events team to head up the John Lewis and Virgin Media accounts.
After completing a Masters in International Public Relations and Global Communications from Cardiff University in 2015, Ben went straight to work in the Corporate Communications team at Welsh Water. Having spent 5 years in South Wales, Ben has now moved back east where he is originally from to join the sports team at PrettyGreen. Being a huge sports enthusiast Ben can be found shouting at Ipswich Town FC, cheering on Saracens RFC or trying to complete enough training to one day fulfil his life long dream of finishing an Ironman triathlon.
Front of House
After studying Media at The University of Brighton, Chloe gained a role on Front of House at PrettyGreen in 2017. During her time at PrettyGreen, Chloe has discovered that she has an interest in PR and would like to pursue a career in this field. In her spare time, Chloe likes to travel and has her sights set on Dubai next. She has a firm love of fashion, films and a TV box set, (her favorite is Breaking Bad and is relentlessly following The Walking Dead). Chloe also loves to drink - although they can’t be fizzy, she hates a Bloody Mary and can only really handle a Malibu & Vodka.
Helping to bring a visual eye to the team, Dan is PrettyGreen’s in house Creative. After graduating University, he moved to the big city with his 6 best friends to pursue his career as a graphic designer. He spent a while as a freelance designer which led to some really great opportunities such as being commissioned as an Illustrator in his first published book. He eventually landed at PrettyGreen and hit the ground running, helping out the team over a spectrum of briefs and clients. When not staring aimlessly at his giant computer screen he can be found in his homeland of Essex, or listening to some live music somewhere in London. Dan loves to spend time hanging out with his girlfriend or best mates, finding new and exciting places to eat, drink, or be merry. If he was any more laid-back, he’d be lying down.
Senior Account Executive
After completing his studies at Plymouth University, studying Health & Fitness BSc. Dan opened his eyes to the world of public relations, and jumped in at the deep end with Golin PR. Learning the trade across several consumer brands, he took another leap of faith at Clifford French, working on all things sport including NFL UK, Euro 2016 and Sports Direct before landing the exciting role at PrettyGreen. The budding South London lad has always lived and breathed the clean *ahem* London air, but enjoys travelling away for the weekend or taking on any sporting challenge (not white collar boxing Ben/Paddy….) Last year he travelled the wonderful rivers of India, helped out at Crisis homeless charity (you will all be joining him this year!) and conquered his fear of heights by skydiving in Kent. Dan can be found at any quirky local bar if you want to know any more about the above.
Having just graduated with a degree in French from the University of Nottingham, Ella packed her bags and did the big move to London. After a year of living in Paris in 2012, working for both Media studio company Abel14 and at top fashion labels such as Acne and Dior (ooh lala!), she got a taste of working in a high-paced and event-filled environment, and knew that this was something she wanted to pursue. Starting at PrettyGreen was exactly the company she had in mind, and being an eager performer at school, it provides the perfect stage for her. By getting actively involved in events, whether that be dominating a megaphone during fitness workouts, or acting for clients at a party, Ella enjoys getting in the role, to make sure any event is fun and enjoyable. Her aim is to expand her experience with a wide spectrum of brands, having thus far worked on events for John Lewis, UnderArmour, giffgaff and Pandora. Although Ella is a born and bred Bristol girl, she is undoubtedly recognised (and scrutinised) by her ‘posho’ accent. (She still wears a scrunchy though…)
Essex girl Emily joined PrettyGreen as an office runner fresh out of Sussex Uni back in September 2013. Since then, Emily has worked on a range of different clients including; John Lewis, LEGO, giffgaff, Audible, and many more. She has worked with these clients to produce events she is really proud of. She has a passion to organise and loves ticking off a good old fashioned pen and paper list. Emily also adds some real creative flair to the events team with ideas that sit on the edge of the ridiculous and down right brilliant. When not in the office Emily can be found with her head buried in a good book or curled up on the sofa watching her beloved Mad Men. She can also be seen on dance floors throughout East London pulling out some 80s MC Hammer running man moves.
With 8 years’ experience across Consumer and Entertainment PR, Emma has worked with a series of high profile brands and personalities in the F&B, retail, TV, live and celebrity sectors. Former clients include Beano, OpenTable, Badger Ale, Sailor Jerry and Mountain Warehouse, as well as entertainment clients such as John Bishop, Jason Manford, Zoe Ball, Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular, Peter Pan World Arena Tour and TV projects for the likes of Sky Atlantic, Watch and Channel 4. In her spare time she can be found falling down the Spotify rabbit hole for something new to entertain her ears and putting the world to rights over an Amaretto on the rocks.
Senior Account Manager
After graduating from the University of Brighton (with a 1st in English Language), Emma set her sights on the fast-paced world of the media. So far in her PR career, Emma has worked for a number of challenger and blue-chip brands including L’Oreal, Dunelm, Mothercare ,Warner Leisure Hotels and Hotels.com. Fast-forward two and a half years and with plenty of experience across digital and traditional media relations (highlights include securing a prime time slot on This Morning and a personal call from Jane McDonald) Emma’s PR journey has brought her to vibrant pastures of PrettyGreen. In her spare time, Emma is a fashion and beauty obsessive and has dabbled with the idea of becoming a part time fashion blogger. At weekends, you’ll most likely find her in the gym doing some form of strength training or escaping to the country to spend time with her Ragdoll cats, Tiki and Taniwha and pet tortoise Jon Jon.
Faye has worked over 15 years within the PR industry including here at our very own PrettyGreen. There is not much that Faye won’t be able to help you with and her background knowledge means she understands the business from all levels. Always ready to help and a friendly face waiting to greet you, Faye has an eye for all things that look nice and will sprinkle her magic touch to make our office chic and sleek. With a passion for sport, fashion and interiors and a cheeky weakness for a fine wine there is always a wealth of knowledge or a background story she can tell.
James joined Pretty Green in 2016, leading on a number of Entertainment accounts - most recently overseeing the successful launch of the Nintendo Switch console. James has nearly six years experience in PR, working on a range of tech and youth clients; from Hasbro to Amazon Prime; from AKG Headphones to Huggies. Highlights include launching Amazon Prime Music in the UK, killing off a classic Cluedo character, creating a Wonky Mr. Potato Head to promote food waste charity Fareshare and managing Kaiser Chief’s secret performance at The Great Escape festival. Away from the office, James can be found on the football pitch, or recuperating on the sofa playing video games.
After graduating from Southampton University in 2015 Jemma decided that if she could not be famous then Media was where it would be for her!
With a years stint at FHMmagazine working in the editorial team Jemma slowly moved into (party) event planning for the magazine with the 100 Sexiest being one of the more glamorous events.
Moving onto a Youth Marketing agency Jemma worked across the likes of Aftershock, Malibu and Playstation.
With strong brand experience and knowledge of the market Jemma then went onto work at RPM for 8 years, working across almost every brand in their portfolio – Sky, Heineken, Diageo, Coca Cola to name but a few.
Jemma’s most recent (and proudest) achievement of having a baby boy has led her to PrettyGreen where she works across both retail and live event projects which she loves.
When not in the office you will find Jemma either dressed up as Barbie, in a random soft play establishment or partying in her home town of Essex!

Jo is an APG award winner and, in her career, has also been credited as the most awarded planner in the world. Mike came to PrettyGreen to help out for a few days in the summer of 2012. Two years later and he’s still here. Mainly because it’s a good deal more interesting than insurance and he’s also still chasing folks to complete their time sheets. He can’t get enough of financial reporting and has a love/hate relationship with Excel. When not dealing with numbers, he enjoys photography, watching rugby league and wheat beers (drinking, not watching). And when he can escape to the hills, Mike loves mountain biking and hill-walking.
Natasha started out at PrettyGreen with a week of ‘I’m just helping out with the filing’. Months later she’s still here a couple of days a week to guard the petty cash tin and make sure everyone gets their expenses in on-time(ish). When not working on her love/hate relationship with Excel, Natasha is a playwright, currently writing a play about deep space and black holes with The Soho Theatre.
Either way, to get away from the computer screen she can be found pounding the streets or cycling to the nearest view point so she can wave around her beloved cameras that she likes to pretend to know how to use.
After graduating from Queen Mary studying English Lit and Drama, Rachel started pursuing a career in charity, gaining experience through internships at various arts charities in London. After deciding that this wasn’t for her, she fled abroad to teach English before coming back to the UK and finding her feet in Business Development.Rachel joined a consultancy where she worked to become a Senior Account Manager getting to know the agency landscape, before setting her sights on the world of ‘floating things down the Thames and pop-ups on Potters’ Field’ - otherwise known as PR - and joining PrettyGreen.Documentary watcher, noncommittal Millwall fan, and once won an eating competition.
Rhea is half English, half German but grew up in southern Spain; she also spent 3 years of her childhood in France and has spent time working in both Germany and Dubai. Fresh out of University, (with a 2:1 in Media Studies) she’s walked away with some great work placements under her belt including an internship at BBH advertising, 12 months with L’Oreal and a placement with Esquire magazine Middle East, amongst others. Now the time has come to choose her path and it seems PR is where her passion lies. Rhea is a huge animal lover, with six rescue dogs back home in Spain; she also loves to cook, eat lots of cheese and drink wine – not necessarily in that order!
Senior Account Manager
Prior to joining PrettyGreen Rob managed to get himself a History degree at Goldsmiths University, but rather than being a historian opted for a career in PR. After 9 months of work experience at a nameless Agency (who didn’t pay him), Rob landed his first full PR role at House PR, where he stayed for nearly 3 years working on entertainment, lifestyle and drinks brands (Amazon Prime, Empire Cinemas, Warner Brothers, Discovery Channel, Peugeot, Doctor Who, Sailor Jerry) In his spare time Rob likes to watch and play (a lot of) football, playing for Oldsmiths AFC, and 5 aside with his mates. Rob’s a big Liverpool fan and when he’s not playing or watching football he’s making music - he plays the guitar, drums and piano. Although currently not in a band, Rob was in a number of bands since the age of 14 and has toured Japan, Europe and played all over the UK - Claim to Fame, he had a track played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 when he was just 15. Rob’s other hobbies include binge TV & Films, attempting to grow (legal) herbs, plants and vegetables on his windowsill and looking after his cat named Audrey (who he talks to like a human).
After four years studying Geography at the University of Birmingham, Roberto concluded that the high-paced event industry was “a bit of him” and so he set his sights on a career in it. During his time in Brum, he spent a year working full-time as Vice President of Housing and Community at his student union (fancy!) where he put on some stellar events. Highlights included bringing the first ever Christmas Fair on campus and organising Lethal Bizzle to perform at the annual Winter Ball #POW. Being part Italian, Roberto has naturally competed in the north London Italian Olympics and received multiple “taking-part” medals much to the disbelief of the wider PrettyGreen team. He is a lover of sports and music – but he has a special place in his heart for Tottenham Hotspur.
Digital Senior Account Manager
Sophie has worked in the digital sector since the beginning of Instagram and before the #selfie had even begun its illustrious history on social media (that’s 8 years IRL). She has a depth of digital knowledge having worked both in-house and at creative agencies, as well as across a wide range of clients, including Tesco, Westfield, Hawaiian Tropic and Fenwick. She’s proud to have been at the cutting edge, creating the one of first Instagram and Pinterest adverts in the UK, and at PrettyGreen can be found overseeing community managers and developing social content strategies for brands. When she’s not lost in an Instagram Story or meme rabbit hole Sophie can be found dabbling in weird and wonderful new skills; if you ever need someone to taxidermy a mouse (very badly) or paint an empowering feminist wooden bowl (averagely) she's your gal.
