Turning dedication into results, at the Maximuscle Home of Gains
After Christmas we all start a fitness regime or an impossible diet but never quite stick to it. Therefore, Maximuscle has given us a helping hand by creating the ‘Home of Gains’. It’s not just a gym rebranded it’s a mentality, helping people achieve the physical ‘gains’ they want, whether it’s to build strength, develop lean muscle, burn fat or improve sport performance.
As well as an online platform created that’ll offer nutritional tips, workout plans, PT advice and more, the Home of Gains also exists in physical form. All those who join the Home of Gains community can sign up to four exclusive free weekly training sessions at Maxi’s Vauxhall HQ, The Foundry, via the Home of Gains microsite.
Alongside the Home of Gains campaign, the Maximuscle brand recently relaunched with the release of a new raw ingredient protein powders range, including BCAA, Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Micellar Casein and Creatine Monohydrate. We would recommend the apple and pear BCAA’s – tastes amazing (and if you don’t believe us, check out what Maximuscle PT Paul Olima thinks).
Throughout the duration of the Home of Gains, you might spot some famous faces taking part in various sessions, plus participating in some of our uniquely-created Gain off challenges (check out Maximuscle’s social channels for more). Maximuscle ambassadors and professional athletes England rugby’s Chris Robshaw, Anthony Watson and Maro Itoje, as well as Welsh winger George North, England and Liverpool FC midfielder Jordan Henderson and up and coming light-heavyweight boxer, Anthony Yarde will all be stepping into the gym from now until March to battle it out to take home bragging rights.
Here at PrettyGreen we’ve tried out a few of the classes ourselves and one thing we would recommend is not to eat a full lunch before you take part in the SWEAT class. As our AE Ben found out, you’ll feel quite ill afterwards… But don’t let that put you off – it’s free, it’s on your doorstep, so what’s gains can you make?
