Lions and Tigers and Maynards, Oh My!

If you were at London Zoo last Friday you might have spotted more than just your bog standard giraffes and penguins… perhaps some Myths & Monsters, Body Bits or even Jeff Brazier and Sara Cox… confused?

Well don’t be, the PrettyGreen PR and Events team have been busy working on the launch of Maynards Discovery Patch, a brand new range of tasty fruit flavour jelly sweets, all wrapped up in packaging which has been specially designed to spark the imagination. The yummy range is available in three different varieties – Body Bits (not the rude kind) Animals (yes you can have a chew on a polar bear’s head) and Myths and Monsters (the Loch Ness monster does exist).

After comissioning child phychologist Dr Amanda Gummer to tell us why imagination was so important, we developed a day of interactive activities inspired by the research to give influential press and bloggers an insight into how they can spark their families’ imagination at home. These provided attendees with ideas to try out including story telling, discovering the workd around us, game making and making the most of our sense of adventure.

Dr Gummer was on hand to welcome the room and share her expert insights before our Imagination Ambassadors took the guests around the different stations to explore the fun, educational and entertaining activities further. Cue lots of laughter, silly faces and a great afternoon.

To add a touch of glamour to proceedings, we enlisted super mum Sara Cox and everyone’s favourite telly dad Jeff Brazier to get involved. They loved it and Jeff has been busy sharing the tips he learnt with his two boys ever since (check him out playing the blindfold game!)

With half term just around the corner we will be taking the Imagination Roadshow on the road so stay tuned for more updates.
