LEGO's Easter Imagination Factory

Lets face it, having to do the weekly shop can be a bit of a drag. Who wants to fight over the last bunch of bananas or hang around until they reduce all the steaks on a Sunday afternoon?

Last weekend we discovered that the weekly shop just got drastically more exciting thanks to the famous plastic brick LEGO!
We spotted the LEGO Imagination Factory at Sainsbury’s Crayford. Just past the Easter eggs and adjacent to the cheese graters. We couldn’t be more excited to get our master builder heads on again and use our imaginations! The factory has been powering up since its tour last year and now is back on the road.

When we entered the store we were invited to build our very own LEGO Easter egg. (Who needs chocolate when you have an egg made out of LEGO?!)

Then we wrote #SAINSBURYS4LIFE on the LEGO graffiti wall – the only time we could legitimately get away with graffiti in a supermarket (we were winning by this point!)
The LEGO builders were on hand to pour out the bricks from the factory pipes and give out awesome LEGO Easter stickers for us to stick all over our mums walls at home.

As if that wasn’t enough, we were encouraged to have our picture taken with a giant LEGO carrot! Inspired by all of our building we went home having forgotten to buy the milk but ready to start creating LEGO Easter treats of our own.

If you are out doing your weekly shop next weekend the Imagination Factory will be at:

Sainsbury’s Fosse Park Thursday 24th March 9.00-17.00

Sainsbury’s Leicester North Friday 25th March 9.00-17.00

Future locations are to be announced in the near future. If you stop by make sure you show the world your imagination #LEGOIMAGINATIONFACTORY
