Getting our just desserts at the IPM Awards

We got suited and booted this week and headed down to the Hilton Park Lane for the prestigious 2016 Institute of Promotional Marketing Awards. We were extremely excited to see that the hilarious Bill Bailey was our host, here’s our very own Bianca grabbing him for a selfie on the stage!

We were very pleased to be representing work completed for LEGO and the Imagination Factory which was awarded GOLD in the consumer services category and SILVER in the Best Stand Alone Experiential category.

This brand experience, a fully-immersive touring LEGO factory,  inspired children to use their imagination and the simple brick to create and build.  With an advocacy rate amongst those who took part of over 95% as well as inspiring the imaginations of over 49,000 children and a solid ROI we felt the award was justified! Thanks to SMA and our LEGO clients for a great team effort.

Our awards on the night didn’t stop there.  Next up SILVER and BRONZE awards for Casillero del Diablo and their partnership with Sky Movies.  This campaign included a national on-pack promotion across 3 million bottles, production of 156 movie idents across 18 movie channels and a range of different promotions with retailers including Sainsbury and Tesco. This campaign has led to Casillero del Diablo moving into the top 5 in the Top Brands list and up by 7% to 21% of the market (Wine Intelligence 2015). An achievement definitely worth celebrating across the integrated team who work on this account including PrettyGreen, our friends at SPP Media and brand owners Concha Y Toro as well as the SKY team. 

 

And how did we celebrate? In the only way possible. A dessert eating contest where you were not allowed to use your hands and pulling out our best moves on the Hilton’s dance floor!
