People are what makes any agency, but to deliver our mantra of Less Ordinary we need a progressive approach to recruitment to deliver our commitment to creating a more inclusive and diverse workforce. We are committed to walk and not just talk.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Hidden and how it will bolster our already existing polices. We strive to strip the agency from any unconscious bias by using its bespoke technology, which removes the identities of candidates, so we are assessing them purely on their skills and experience. We will also be working with Hidden to continue to build on our inclusive interview process to ensure everyone has the opportunity to flourish within the agency.

Our in-house Hidden talent manager will help us create further strategies to deliver equitable hiring, training & retention processes that will encourage a more diverse range of people into our PR and experience agency group. 

We have always encouraged female development and are very proud to have a majority female leadership team (78%), a majority female Board (75%) and 16% of our workforce are from marginalised ethnic groups. However, we know we still have work to do and have the ability to create a better balance.  

We’re in marketing for goodness sake… so if we believe what we pitch then we absolutely have the power to change behaviour and this requires internal and external commitment.

Our commitment is long term. We are a founding partner of the Brixton Finishing School, now proudly in year 3, and now with the national AD-Cademy program, we have supported the Taylor Bennett Foundation over a number of years and are really proud to work closely with People Like Us. 

We also started working with the incredibly knowledgeable Equity, Inclusion & Diversity consultant, Sereena Abassilast year to offer expert ongoing advice and training, including focus groups, 121s, inclusivity training and new starter inductions for all staff. We also set up a D&I committee to review our internal process, creative partners, suppliers, recruitment, training and client advice, which is leading to some really exciting developments.
