Happy Birthday To Us


It’s been another bonkers year. We can’t quite believe another year has flown by. You always worry that maybe you didn’t quite do enough is the last 360 odd days, so we had a think and made a little list.

– Emma and Lucy, got pregnant and Wends and Strings had a baby
– Nick and Lynsey got engaged (not too each other)
– We were PR Weeks New Agency of the Year
– Setup and established a new sports division
– Won a few Clients, Sony Ericsson, Under Armour, Great Shaftesbury Run, Paddy Power, One Water, ShopStyle
– Didn’t win a pitch for an alcoholic drinks brand that we still think was the best work the Agency has ever produced
– Played Spots v Stripes all year including at our Summer Party last year on Primrose Hill. Blind space-hopper dodgems is the future
– Worked on Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Crème Egg & Easter Egg Trails, Cadbury Caramel Nibbles, Cadbury Flake & Flake Allure, Cadbury Twirl, Trident Chewing Gum, Maynards Wine Gums
– Broke the world record for the highest game of Catch
– Went to 30 festivals in 30 weeks
– Ate a lot of Nando’s chicken and spread the word of its true genius status
– Went to Mumbai with with Esprit and Maggie Gyllenhaal to see SoS Villages in action
– Launched a new Digital Division, securing specific digital Clients
– Drank a lot of Red Bull and got involved with some truly inspiring projects
– Created a new music offering, PrettyFresh with DJ Tayo
– Went to Malawi and saw how One helps change the lives of millions, by simply asking people to buy water
– started a choir called “twisted choir starter”, after our Xmas party singing extravaganza
– Created a new “Contentment Model”, which harnesses Digital, Events and PR to deliver truly innovative and integrated content to ensure campaigns maximise delivery

And finally we launched our own Absinthe La Maison Fontaine which won 3 Gold Awards:-
– IWSC Best in Class & Gold
– Spirits Business Gold-Absinthaides Golden Spoon

We now know why the year feels like a blur (or maybe it was just the Absinthe).
