Four Day Fiesta

The office is full to the brim with tequila, Mexicans and giant cut out skulls. This can only mean one thing…. MexFest is here!

It all kicks off this Thursday with a party at the Rich Mix and a special screening of David Riker’s The Girl. This will be followed with another three days of Mexican films, music and architecture talks.

For the cultured of you, here are our do not miss highlights:

• The UK premiere of Diego Luna’s documentary film J.C. Chavez at the Rich Mix on Saturday @ 19:30 and Sunday @ 14:00
• Live music performances from Grupo Mono Blanco and a DJ set from Gil Cerezo at the V&A on Friday from 18:00
• Talks on architecture at the Royal Academy from Victor Legorreta, Miquel Adria and Michel Rojkind
• The ‘Conceptual Take On Genre’ talk with three MexFest film panelists at BFI Southbank on Saturday @ 13:00
• The closing screening of documentary film, ‘Three Voices’ followed by a Q&A and party at the Rich Mix on Sunday @ 20:00
